To me, “Luck” and “Stalking” were both really good because they were a fine blend of Nightrunning action and also explored conflict and growth between Seregil and Alec. I was looking for a fantasy series geared more towards a gay audience. Luck in the Shadows (Nightrunner, Vol. IMHO, “Traitor's Moon” is the book that doesn' t fit. At first it seems like it is going to be run of the mill, but by the third book you are an addict and greeting other addicts wi. This was actually the perfect choice. The “Nightrunner” series (which, by the way, has one of the coolest sounding titles of any book series I have ever read) is made up of the books “Luck in the Shadows,” “Stalking Darkness,” “Traitor's Moon,” “Shadows Return,” “The White Road,” and “Casket of Souls.” Flewelling is writing . So in honor of the upcoming “Casket of Souls” – the sixth book in the Nightrunner series – I am going to do this months review over the first book in the series. The Nightrunner series rocks!!!
